Lesley Okawa, The Maid of Honor:
Lesley is Jill’s big sister and best friend. She’s the mother of Aiden (the cutest nephew an aunt could ever ask for), and lives in Portland, Oregon with her man, Erick.
Scott Tworek, Best Man:
Scott hales from Racine, and has been Joe’s best friend since randomly being assigned as dorm roommates at UW in ’92, and have lived together for 10 out of 14 years until Jill stole him away. You may also know him as the lead singer of The Surefire Way.
Jen Harwood, Bridesmaid:
Jen and Jill became instant best friends and roommates when Jen moved to New York through AIESEC in 2004. Originally from Australia, Jen now works for City Year and lives in Manhattan with her man, Jesse.
Nirish Mathias, Groomsman:
Nirish got Joe his traineeship in India in ’01, then worked with Joe in the US for a bit – where he converted Nirish to a Packer Backer. Joe & Nirish played ZogSports football & volleyball together in NYC, where Nirish resides.
Kim Kingsley-McMearty, Bridesmaid:
Kim and Jill met and became best friends whilst studying abroad together in Ghana. Kim is a Super V.I.P. at Politico.com and lives with her hubby, Mike, in our nation’s capitol.
Mike Jerryson, Groomsman:
Mike and Joe met at college, were roommates on Lake Mendota, and have swapped beers and world traveler stories ever since. Mike is studying at UCSB to become a professor of Religious Studies, is married to lovely wife Fawn, & proud father of new daughter Sienna.
Maia Gill, Bridesmaid:
Maia and Jill also met while studying abroad in Ghana. Maia is on her way to becoming Dr. Maia and is in her final year of getting her PhD in Psychology in San Diego, CA.
Drew Arnold, Groomsman:
Drew & Joe worked together at AIESEC and continue to help each other out with their entrepreneurial ventures. Drew lives in Austin with lovely wife Simone and kids Noah & Luan.
Theresa Rumery, Bridesmaid:
Theresa and Jill met while living in the same dorm at the University of Colorado, and then going on to room together their sophomore year of college. Theresa works for Accenture and lives in Frankfurt, Germany.
Dale Martin, Groomsman:
Dale and Joe are best friends from high school and try for camping trips together whenever possible. Dale just opened his own massage therapy clinic in Lake Geneva – & will be offering free massages for all our guests! ;)
